Additional Info
- Warren's final concert was on August 9, 2002 at
the Edmonton Folk Music Festival in front of 14,000 people. Warren was originally
not part of the festival, nor was he advertised. After a successful appearance
at the Calgary Folk Music Festival two weeks prior, Warren was invited by
festival producer Terry Wickham to close that night's event.
- Warren was joined on stage that night by musician and friend Matt Cartsonis,
who added acoustic & electric guitars, dulcimer, banjo, fiddle, harmony
and background vocals .
- The Edmonton concert had a unique setlist featuring fan favorites and
later works. Dirty Life And Times was only performed twice by Warren live.
A Case Of You is a cover of the Joni Mitchell classic. Canadee-I-O is a
traditional folk song which was performed previously by Nic Jones and Bob
Dylan.
- Audio for this concert was provided by the good people at The
Edmonton Folk Music Festival. The album was mastered and restored by
multiple Grammy-winning engineer Michael Graves and Jordan McLeod of Osiris
Studio with Matt Cartsonis.
